PropCap Awarded the Web3 Proof-of-Concept Subsidy

PropCap is honoured to join the Web3 PoC Subsidy Scheme launched by Cyberport's Web3 Base. The scheme is highly significant for Propcap, helping accelerate innovative Web3 solutions — particularly applying Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenisation within a Limited Partnership Fund (LPF) structure.
Web3 technology is evolving rapidly and transforming traditional financial markets. The Propcap Finance team has been working to digitise assets through advanced Web3 technology, increasing investor participation and market transparency. The scheme recognises our technology vision and is a key step towards tokenising PropCap's mortgage projects as real-world assets.
How Will PropCap Deliver the Project?
PropCap will use the subsidy mainly to research and develop the conversion of LPF-structured products into real-world asset tokens. RWA tokenisation not only digitises traditional assets but also uses blockchain to improve liquidity, lowering the entry barrier for more investors while providing greater transparency and transaction security.
Partners & Legal Support
The project has strong professional support, including Tiang & Partners, a member of the PwC network, which provides legal support with deep experience in investment funds and regulation, helping PropCap deliver its RWA tokenisation project. Pollock Asset Management is the investment manager, responsible for investment management and risk control, and we are working with the Evident investment platform to ensure smooth liquidity and investment processes.

Key Benefits for Investors
The project aims to bring investors several major benefits, including:
- Lower entry barrier Traditional investments often need large capital, but with RWA tokenisation investors can access large assets with smaller amounts.
- Diversification The LPF structure offers more diverse asset classes, improving portfolio diversification and reducing the impact of any single asset's volatility.
- Greater transparency Blockchain makes every transaction traceable, increasing transparency so investors can see clearly how assets flow and are managed.
Timeline & Outlook
The proof of concept is expected to complete in Q4 this year, with the Limited Partnership Fund (LPF) launching in Q1 2025. By then, all legal structures and investment channels will be in place so investors can take part in the innovative opportunities RWA tokenisation brings.
As Web3 matures, PropCap aims to be a leader in the field and hopes to launch more innovative financial products, helping Hong Kong investors and Asian markets seize opportunities in the emerging digital economy.
